Newman Youth Summer Sports Camp

NYSSC is a multi-sport camp, based in the heart of Stoney Creek, which provides boys and girls, between the ages of 4-14, the opportunity to participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, meet new friends, and have a lot of FUN! The camp has experienced remarkable success over the years. This year’s camp promises to be the best yet! Don’t miss out on the summer fun!

Typical Newman Youth Sports Camp Daily Schedule:
(Camp Hours 9:00 am-3:00 pm)
9:00 - 9:15 am Check-in and morning exercises
9:20 - 10:10 Basketball fundamental activities and games
10:15 - 11:05 Flag Football fundamental activities and games
11:10 - 12:00 Floor Hockey fundamental activities and games
12:05 - 12:55 pm Lunch**
1:00 - 1:50 Soccer fundamental activities and games
1:55 - 2:45 Indoor Alternate Activity (ex. European Handball)
2:50 - 3:00 Closing address and dismissal

** Split Lunch Schedule: Lunch A - 11:10-12:00 pm; Lunch B - 12:05-12:55 pm
** Each camper must bring their own bag lunch and beverage. (Campers are not permitted to leave the site to purchase lunch).

Suggested clothing/equipment:

Camp t-shirt (to be provided), gym shorts, athletic socks, and running shoes.

Cost:

The registration fee is:
One week - $175
Two weeks - $340

Session Schedule:

Week 1: June 30- July 4 2008
Week 2: July 7-11 2008
** Multiple week campers are not limited to consecutive weeks, they may mix and match the weeks of their choice.

  • Multi-week:Two weeks - $340
  • Family Rate:a discount of $10 per camper will be applied for families registering 2 or more children
